The battery of an electronic cigarette is the brain of the device. Inside each battery is a microprocessor and switch that controls the power to the atomizer. When a user inhales on the device, the switch in the battery turns on and allows the vaporizer to run, after the user is done inhaling the processor/switch will put the device automatically into stand by mode and wait for the user to inhale again.
